LANGTON All Blacks powered to a 79-11 Harborough Netball Victory over Snowfinders.
Centre Clare Dunn fired a succession of balls up into the attacking half to leave Snowfinders under near constant pressure.

Any hope of a comeback was dashed by an exceptional goalkeeper in Sarah Coyne.

Wheel and Compass fought out an even first quarter with Joules but then pulled away for a 44-29 win.

Wendy Hayward completed some impressive shots, while Francesca Wilkinson made life difficult for Joules’ attacking efforts.

Bladerunner 1 overcame Russ Air 47-34, having just edged the first half 23-22 thanks to the sharp shooting of Laura Smith.

Janet Smith’s injury was a major setback for Russ Air as the team missed her shooting qualities. Bladerunner capitalised and went from strength to strength despite the efforts of goalkeeper Vicki Brown.

Diamond Mowers’ 48-24 win over Bladerunner 2 featured a strong performance at centre by Amanda Marshall.

Goalkeeper Leanne Marshall battled bravely for Bladerunner, and their wing attack Molly Beard passed well into the circle but Diamond remained in overall control, with captain Emma Weir impressive in defence.
