ROBBIE Muggleton's his first hat-trick of the season fired Harborough Town 94 under-14s to a superb 8-3 victory over Bushby United.
The rest of the goals came from Ciaran Maxwell (two), Enniott Pateman (two) and Philip Jones, while man of the match Jim Murphy pulled out all the stops as a defender by blocking at least three attempts from Bushby and keeper Jamie Burgess also play
ed superbly.

Harborough under-15s swept to a 6-0 league cup win over Melton Foxes.

Dogged defending thwarted their attacks until a minute before half-time when man of the match Tom Morris calmly placed the ball out of the reach of the diving keeper.

After the restart, Morris added to his tally and Tom Webb fired a hat-trick to put the game beyond doubt. Oli Watts scored the final goal to cap a sound team performance.

James Dyson did the trick for Harborough under-11s as he smashed home a treble to clinch a 3-1 victory at third-placed Wheststone.

On a cabbage patch of a pitch the Harborough boys ground out the important win to stay top of the league.

Dyson and Ben Wheeler worked well as a pair and James Marston put in a dazzling display at full-back.

Dyson opened the scoring before a penalty drew the home side level. Josh Walker kept his team in it before the break with two outstanding saves.

After the break Dyson hit two more goals after neat build-up play from Sammy Edwards and Lou Potter to wrap it up.

Harborough 94 under-16s shared the spoils with Countesthorpe in a 3-3 draw.

They started the game awfully with some comic book defending to gift the opposition a goal in the first five minutes.

After this, though, Harborough tried to get their passing game going, which was difficult on the boggy pitch. With Nick Voss and Adam Frost again pulling the strings in midfield, the team started to create chances and the constant running of Callum Wainwright was always a threat. It wasn’t until just before half-time that the pressure paid off, a Chris Carter free-kick somehow finding its way over the line.

Harborough were in control for most of the second half and Voss made it 2-1 with a neat flicked header from a Carter free-kick, then skipper Frost finished neatly to make it 3-1.

But just when Harborough looked as though they had the game won, a wonder strike pulled the score back to 3-2. And with four minutes remaining the opposition punished a defensive lapse by snatching a dramatic equaliser.

Harborough still had a fine chance to win even after this when Callum Parkhouse burst through from midfield, only for the keeper to save at his feet.

Harborough 94 under-12s emerged from a remarkable ten-goal home thriller with honours even against a ten-man Friar Lane/Epworth side.

The home team made a fine start with Zach Gutteridge scoring from the edge of the box. But Lane were soon level, capitalising on a simple throughball, and punished some weak defending to go 3-1 up.
