MISSED chances cost Desborough Town dearly on Saturday when a goal three minutes from time sentenced them to a 2-1 defeat at home to Sleaford Town.
Despite having most of the play in the first half, Ar Tarn turned around a goal down after the visitors netted from the penalty spot in the 31st minute.

Ten minutes into the second half Desborough equalised through Sean Brennan, but they failed to convert their remaining chances before the visitors grabbed their late winner.

The first team are without a match this weekend but visit Northampton Spencer in the League Cup on Tuesday.

The reserves, who were without a match last Saturday, are at home to Blackstones this week.
