DEFENDING Harborough Netball League champions Langton All Blacks took on Wheel Compass and the second division side only narrowly lost out, 25-22.
Louisa Monk had a fine game at wing attack and played a big part in leading Compass’s attack.

Langton pulled away in the third quarter with the help of centre Ruth Kayeihamba. Alice Lawson intercepted well for Compass but they were pipped at the post.

Bladerunner 2 were outgunned 47-23 by Farndon Foods, for whom Meg Palmer dominated the centre court play. Goal shooter Sam Hickman was on fire for the victors.

Bladeruner 1 dominated from the outset to see off Oshas 47-26. Heather Betts shone in centre court and goalkeeper Emily Dove intercepted well.

Diamond Mowers took the final game 45-21 against Joules. Wing attack Micki Wilkinson was in top form, helping to set up a 24-10 lead at half-time.

Joules responded through their wing attack Sarah Westley but goalkeeper Emma Weir made life difficult for them.
