A RURAL fund with a kitty of £240,000 to distribute to countryside enterprises is being launched in Billesdon on Wednesday.
Leicestershire County Council’s new Vibrant Villages programme will give out £240,000 over three years to support rural community facilities in Leicestershire.

The launch takes place at The Coplow Centre in Uppingham Road from 4.30pm and will include seminars about the new fund.

A free rural business fair aimed at farmers and other rural firms will follow.
