THE WINNER of television talent show This is My Moment will be performing in North Kilworth tomorrow night (Friday).
This is My Moment, ITV’s forerunner to the X Factor, was won in 2001 by Leicestershire’s Adam Watkiss who will be singing at Kilworth House Hotel’s outdoor theatre from 8pm.

Following his win, Blaby-based Watkiss recorded an album for Universal Records which sold more than 100,000 copies and he later performed in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance.

More recently he has played the narrator in the West End production of Blood Brothers.

Watkiss christened the opening of the Kilworth venue last year with a performance on June 3 and has also appeared at the hotel’s Orangery at Christmas shows in 2006 and 2007.

The award-winning outdoor venue is a 550-seat auditorium which has a sail-like canopy.

For more information or tickets (cost £20) visit the website www.kilworthhousetheatre.co.uk or phone the box office on 01858 881939.
